I will definitely put this training into practice. Common sense can go a long way and also being prepared with creativity can mean the difference between life and death.
One other item I forgot to mention about creativity is that I made barking sounds of a large dog when an intruder was caught peeping into my apartment, using my door’s peep-hole. The intruder looked right into the peep-hole as I was looking out of it. That is when I took action. Thankfully, neither of us were hurt before the police took over, but I learned a lesson about using creativity to scare intruders away. My IQ went up that night, I would say. I was already on high alert due to the fact that I was in Afghanistan a month prior.
This is great info that most of us rarely think about or consider.
